Luciano Bianchi VIPsAllowed - Impressed the in-laws
8/10

Picked this up for a family dinner and it went down really well. Even my father-in-law who's fussy about wine said it was excellent. It's got a focused quality to it, like everything's been thought about properly. The finish just sort of trails off gently which I really liked.

Maxwell Green VIPsAllowed - Great with fish and chips honestly
8/10

I know you're supposed to have champagne with fancy food but we had this with fish and chips on a Friday night and it was unreal. The acidity cuts right through the grease and the fruit keeps it refreshing. Deutz clearly know what they're doing. Will definitely buy again.

Amira Benali VIPsAllowed - Decent champagne, expected more
7/10

Saw this on a restaurant wine list and ordered a bottle. It's perfectly nice — clean, balanced, does what champagne should do. But for the price I've had proseccos and crémants that gave me more excitement. Maybe I just need to try it again with food.

Ethan Cooper VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat that delivered
9/10

My partner got me this for my birthday and wow. I don't know loads about champagne but this was clearly a cut above what we normally drink. Loads of flavour that kept changing as I sipped it, and the bubbles were really fine and elegant. Felt properly fancy.

Valentina Ricci VIPsAllowed - New Year's Eve winner
9/10

Bought this for New Year's and honestly it was the highlight of the night. Really crisp and clean with proper depth to it, not just fizzy nothing like some champagnes. At £48 it's not cheap but it felt worth every penny for a special occasion.

Derek Chang VIPsAllowed - Solid all-rounder champagne
8/10

Had this at a friend's wedding and tracked it down afterwards. It's well balanced — fruity but not sweet, with a nice acidity that keeps things interesting. The finish is clean and lingers just enough. Good stuff if you want something reliable and a step above supermarket fizz.

Sibel Nur VIPsAllowed - Nice but bit pricey for what it is
7/10

The wine shop guy recommended this when I said I wanted something decent for a dinner party. It's good, don't get me wrong — pleasant bubbles, clean finish, easy to drink. But at nearly £48 a bottle I was hoping to be a bit more blown away. Would probably go for something cheaper next time.

Andre Dubois VIPsAllowed - My go-to champagne now
8/10

Third time buying this. It's just really well made — nothing showy but everything works together. Love how it's not too heavy at 12.5%, you can have a couple of glasses without feeling rough. Goes brilliantly with sushi if anyone's wondering.
