Adaobi Eze VIPsAllowed - Great dinner party find
7/10

Bought three bottles for a dinner party and everyone kept asking what it was. The pepper on the finish is really distinctive and got people talking. Grenache doesn't get enough love honestly. At this price I'll definitely be buying more.

Picked this up from Majestic on a whim and honestly really impressed. Way more going on than you'd expect at £10.95 — proper dark fruit flavours, blackberry and plum, with a peppery kick at the end. Had it with lamb chops on Saturday and it was spot on.

Wine shop guy recommended this when I said I wanted something interesting under £12. It's solid — quite rich and smooth for the price, nice spicy finish. Not sure I'd rush back for it but I wouldn't say no to another glass either.

It's fine? The nose is lovely, all strawberry and flowers, but then the taste is quite different — much darker and heavier. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for something this full-on. Would probably work better with food than on its own.
