Luciano Bianchi VIPsAllowed - Christmas present that actually delivered
8/10

Got this as a gift and wasn't sure what to expect from a producer I hadn't heard of. Really pleasantly surprised — it's got proper structure and complexity, not just generic fizz. The finish is clean and lingering in a really satisfying way. Bonnaire are clearly doing something right.

Natalie Ford VIPsAllowed - Perfect dinner party champagne
8/10

Had this at a friend's house and immediately asked where she got it. There's a real depth to it that you don't always get with NV champagnes. Poured it as an aperitif and it went down dangerously fast — had to open a second bottle before the starters even came out.

Nia Okafor VIPsAllowed - Nice but a bit pricey for what it is
7/10

It's a perfectly good champagne, don't get me wrong. Fresh, pleasant, easy to drink. But at nearly £40 I've had bottles I've enjoyed just as much for less. Would probably pick it up again on offer but wouldn't pay full whack every time.

Marco Andretti VIPsAllowed - Decent midweek treat
7/10

Saw this on a restaurant wine list and decided to grab a bottle from the shop instead. It's nice — good bubbles, balanced, does the job. I just felt like it was missing a bit of wow factor compared to some other champagnes I've tried at this price point.

Jackson Wu VIPsAllowed - Great with fish and chips honestly
8/10

I know you're supposed to pair champagne with fancy stuff but we cracked this open with Friday night fish and chips and it was brilliant. The acidity cuts right through and the bubbles keep everything fresh. At 12.5% it's not going to knock you sideways either. Lovely stuff.

Nils Bergman VIPsAllowed - Punches above its weight
9/10

I'm no expert but I know what I like, and this is properly good. The fruit is really clear and upfront from the moment you pour it, and it finishes clean without any weird aftertaste. Genuinely surprised by how much flavour is packed in here for under £40.

Daisy Miller VIPsAllowed - New go-to celebration fizz
9/10

Bought this for my wife's birthday and we were both really impressed. The bubbles are super fine and it's got this lovely fresh fruit thing going on without being too sweet. At £38.50 it's not cheap but honestly it drinks like something more expensive. Will definitely be getting this again for special occasions.

Kwame Mensah VIPsAllowed - Solid champagne, no complaints
8/10

The guy at my local wine shop recommended this when I said I wanted something decent but not crazy expensive. Really clean and well balanced — the fizz stays lively right to the bottom of the glass. Good honest champagne that doesn't try too hard.
