Reliable as always

Keep coming back to Bollinger Special Cuvee because it never disappoints. The half bottle is handy for midweek when a full 75cl would be overkill. Generous fruit, proper structure, and it doesn't taste thin like some NV champagnes can. Good stuff if you can stomach the price.

Perfect half bottle for two

Grabbed this for date night because we never finish a full bottle of champagne before it goes flat. Really impressive stuff — rich and full flavoured but still crisp and refreshing. At £32.50 for a half bottle it's not cheap, but it's Bollinger so you know what you're getting.

The half bottle is genius

Why don't more champagnes come in halves?? This is ideal for when you just want a couple of glasses without committing to a full bottle. Tastes rich and almost toasty, with enough acidity to keep it lively. Treated myself on a Friday night and zero regrets.

Christmas morning winner

Bought four of these half bottles for Christmas morning — one each for the adults. Went down an absolute storm. There's a real depth to it that you don't get with cheaper fizz, and it feels properly celebratory. Everyone asked where I got it. Will definitely be doing this again next year.

Expected more honestly

Had this at a restaurant after seeing it on the wine list and thought I'd treat myself. It's fine, well made and all that, but for Bollinger money I wanted to be blown away and I wasn't. Pleasant enough, good bubbles, clean finish, but I've had cheaper champagnes I enjoyed just as much.

Solid but pricey for a half

Got this as part of a gift set for my mum's birthday. She loved it and said it tasted properly luxurious. I had a glass and yeah, it's good — nice balance of fruit and fizz — but £32.50 for a half bottle is a lot when you can get decent prosecco for a tenner.
