Bollinger Special Cuvee NV Champagne + 2 Glasses Pack
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV BollingerWorth every penny for a celebration
Bought this for my wife's 40th and it was a hit. Really rich and full flavoured, not like those thin fizzy champagnes you sometimes get. The two glasses are a nice touch too — we used them on the night and they're still in the cupboard for special occasions. At £94.50 you're paying a bit extra for the glasses but honestly Bollinger never disappoints.
Great champagne, maybe not great value
I know Bollinger from the James Bond thing so finally tried it. It's genuinely lovely — fruity but structured, and the finish just keeps going. You can tell it's a step up from your standard supermarket champagne. That said, I'm not sure the gift pack is worth it over just buying the bottle on its own. The glasses are fine but nothing amazing.
Solid champagne, pricey though
Had this at a friend's house and liked it enough to order one myself. It's proper stuff — deep flavour, almost bready, and the bubbles are fine rather than aggressive. Finish lasts ages which I wasn't expecting. Only gripe is the price — nearly a hundred quid is a lot when you can get decent cremant for a third of that.
My go-to for gifts now
The wine shop guy recommended this as a gift set and he was spot on. My dad opened it at Christmas and even he said it was one of the best champagnes he's had. Really smooth with loads of depth to it, not just fizz and acid like cheaper bottles. The glasses make it feel like a proper present rather than just rocking up with a bottle.
