Sophie Brennan VIPsAllowed - Decent, expected a bit more though
7/10

Saw this on a restaurant menu and decided to treat myself. It's a well-made champagne for sure — rich fruit, good bubbles, that biscuity character people rave about. But honestly at this price point I wanted something that really knocked my socks off and it was more like a solid 'yeah that's nice' than a wow moment.

Picked this up for my wife's birthday after reading about it online. The first sip and you just know it's quality — there's a savoury, almost bread-like warmth underneath all the fizz that cheaper champagnes just don't have. We demolished the bottle with some cheese and crackers and it was perfect.

Brought this to a dinner party and got loads of compliments. It's got a real firmness to it, not just bubbly water like some cheaper ones. Nice clean finish too — you can taste the toastiness lingering after each sip. Definitely one I'd buy again when I want to look like I know what I'm doing.

Oscar Delgado VIPsAllowed - Good but maybe not £57 good
7/10

The wine shop guy recommended this over a couple of cheaper options and it is genuinely nice — proper depth and a lovely toasty finish. But at nearly sixty quid I expected to be more wowed? I've had Crémants at half the price that I've enjoyed just as much. Good champagne though, no question.

Celeste Moreno VIPsAllowed - My new go-to celebration champagne
9/10

Bought this for our anniversary and honestly it blew me away. You get this amazing toasty, biscuity thing going on that just makes it feel properly luxurious. At £57 it's not cheap but it's so much better than the usual Moët we grab. Will definitely be buying this again for special occasions.

Grace Kim VIPsAllowed - Solid champagne, lives up to the name
8/10

Had this at a friend's wedding and tracked it down afterwards. Really nice balance — it's rich and fruity but not sweet, with a freshness that keeps you going back for more. The brioche notes are real, not just label talk. Worth the price if you want something a step above the supermarket stuff.

Olivia Wong VIPsAllowed - Finally understand why people rate Bollinger
8/10

I'm not really a champagne person normally but tried this at a tasting and actually got what the fuss is about. It's got proper flavour — like toasted bread and ripe fruit — and the bubbles are really fine, not aggressive. The acidity gives it a nice kick that stops it feeling heavy. Converted me a bit honestly.
