Clara Johansson VIPsAllowed - Great champagne, big price tag
8/10

Got this as a birthday present and it's definitely quality stuff. Very structured and firm, not sweet or fruity like some cheaper fizz. Bit steep at £359 though — I'd probably just buy three regular bottles instead if I was spending my own money.

9/10

Ordered this for a friend's engagement party after the guy in the wine shop recommended Bollinger over Moët. So glad I listened. It's got this lovely toasty richness and a clean finish that keeps you coming back for another glass. The presentation with the gift box is top notch — looked like I'd spent way more effort than I actually did.

Devon Marsh VIPsAllowed - Good but not sure about the format
7/10

The champagne itself is lovely, classic Bollinger — rich, toasty, nicely balanced. My issue is that once you open a Jeroboam you're pretty committed to finishing it, and it did lose a bit of fizz towards the end of the evening. For a big party it'd be perfect, but for a smaller gathering I'd stick with standard bottles.

Bought the Jeroboam for my parents' 40th wedding anniversary and it was the star of the evening. Properly rich and full-bodied for a champagne, none of that thin fizzy stuff. The bubbles are fine and it just keeps giving — we had about 8 people drinking from it and everyone was impressed.

I've had the regular bottle loads of times but the Jeroboam is something else. There's a real depth to it, almost like baked apples and brioche, and the acidity keeps it fresh rather than heavy. Yes it's £359 but you're getting a serious amount of seriously good champagne, plus the gift box is gorgeous.

Marco Andretti VIPsAllowed - Christmas Day showstopper
9/10

Brought this out on Christmas morning and the size of it alone got everyone excited. The champagne itself is brilliant — complex, layered, and the finish just goes on and on. At 12.5% it's not going to knock you sideways either which is handy when you're cooking dinner at the same time.

Maxwell Green VIPsAllowed - Solid but I'm no expert
8/10

My wife's into wine way more than me but even I could tell this was proper good stuff. It's not as sweet as prosecco which I normally drink, more savoury and serious if that makes sense. The big bottle looks incredible on the table and it comes in a nice box so you don't need to wrap it.
