Bollinger PN AYC 2018 Champagne
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV BollingerConverted me from prosecco
I usually just drink prosecco because I can't tell the difference but this changed my mind. There's so much going on — it keeps revealing new things as you drink it. The alcohol doesn't hit you at all even though it's 12.5%. Shared it with friends over a roast chicken and everyone loved it.
Worth every penny for a special night
Bought this for our anniversary dinner and wow, it really delivered. The bubbles are fine and elegant, and there's this lovely depth to it that kept me going back for another sip. At £95 it's not an everyday buy but for a celebration it's absolutely spot on.
Really nice but steep price
Had this at a friend's dinner party and it was genuinely excellent — proper structured champagne with layers of flavour that keep unfolding. But nearly £95 a bottle is a lot. I'd buy it for a big occasion but not on a random Tuesday.
Best champagne I've had in ages
My wife got me this for my birthday and I'm obsessed. You can really smell it opening up in the glass — give it a few minutes and it just gets better and better. Serious stuff from Bollinger, the finish lingers for ages. Already ordered another bottle.
The wine shop guy was right
Went in looking for something special for New Year's and the guy behind the counter pointed me to this. So glad he did. It's got this firm backbone to it but the fruit balances it out perfectly. Clean finish that sticks around. Proper champagne.
Good but I expected more
Look it's a nice champagne, don't get me wrong. Smells great, drinks smooth, the acidity is well balanced. But at this price point I was hoping to be blown away and I wasn't quite. I've had cheaper bottles that excited me more honestly.
