Bollinger La Côte aux Enfants 2013 Champagne
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV BollingerAbsolutely stunning champagne
Saw this on a restaurant wine list and decided to treat myself. The nose is so expressive and confident, you know immediately this is something special. On the palate it's firm and layered with this gorgeous precision at 12.5%. Worth every penny for a truly memorable experience.
Blew my mind at a dinner party
A friend brought this to dinner and none of us had tried anything like it before. It's nothing like your typical champagne — much more serious and structured. We had it with roast chicken and it was incredible. The aromatics hit you straight away and the finish goes on and on.
2013 vintage is a winner
I'm slowly getting into collecting champagne and this Bollinger is probably the best I've tried so far. There's a real complexity that unfolds the longer it sits in the glass. The acidity keeps everything fresh and lively. Treated myself after a promotion and zero regrets.
Very nice but not life-changing
Look, this is a lovely champagne and clearly well made. Clean finish, good depth, nice balance. But I've had bottles at a fraction of the price that gave me just as much enjoyment. If someone else is buying, absolutely — but I wouldn't spend my own money on it again.
Impressive but hard to justify the price
Had this at a tasting event and it's clearly a serious champagne. Really precise and well-made, firm structure with lovely depth. But £1075 is a LOT of money for a bottle of fizz, even one this good. I'd give it a 9 if it was half the price.
Really good but I expected more at this price
Got recommended this by the guy at my local wine shop. It's undeniably quality — clean, composed, beautifully balanced. But for over a thousand quid I wanted to be absolutely floored, and I wasn't quite there. Still a gorgeous bottle though, don't get me wrong.
Special occasion wine that delivered
Bought this for our 10th wedding anniversary and wow, it did not disappoint. The bubbles are so fine and elegant, and there's this real depth to it that kept me going back for more. At over a grand it better be good, and honestly it was. The finish just lingers forever.
Best champagne I've ever had
My wife got this for my 50th birthday and I'm still thinking about it weeks later. It's so layered and complex — every sip you pick up something new. The fruit and acidity are perfectly balanced. Yes it's expensive but this is genuinely a once-in-a-lifetime bottle.
