Tried this at a tasting and still thinking about it
A local wine bar did a champagne tasting night and this was the star of the lineup. You get brioche and dried herbs on the nose, then red berries and this chalky dry thing that keeps you coming back for more. The finish is ridiculously long. I'd never pay £400 for a bottle at home but I'm glad I got to try it.

Beautiful but hard to justify the price
Had this at a friend's wedding and it was genuinely stunning — really complex, layers of fruit, almost a bread-like richness underneath. But I looked up the price afterwards and nearly fell over. It's an 8 from me purely because I can't imagine spending that much on a single bottle myself, even though the champagne itself is flawless.

Best rosé champagne I've ever had
The wine shop recommended this when I said I wanted something really special for my wife's birthday. It's on another level compared to regular champagne — there's a mineral quality and the finish just goes on and on. She loved the gift box too. Yes it's expensive but some things are worth it.

Worth every penny for a special night
Bought this for our 10th anniversary and wow. The bubbles are incredibly fine and it's got this gorgeous red fruit thing going on with a hint of orange. At £400 it's obviously not an everyday bottle but for a once-in-a-lifetime evening it absolutely delivered.
