Nice but I expected more
Got this as a gift box set from a wine shop recommendation. It's good champagne, don't get me wrong — smooth, balanced, slightly sweet in a pleasant way. But for nearly sixty quid I was hoping to be blown away and it didn't quite get there for me. Would probably pick a brut next time at this price.

Perfect for celebrations
Bought this for my wife's birthday and it was a massive hit. It's got a touch of sweetness but not in a cloying way — really elegant and easy to drink. The bubbles are fine and it just feels properly luxurious. At £58 it's not cheap but for a special occasion it's absolutely worth it.

Lovely with dessert
Tried this after seeing Billecart-Salmon recommended online and I'm glad I did. We had it with a fruit tart and it was spot on — the slight sweetness paired really well without being too much. Clean tasting and genuinely classy stuff. The gift box is a nice touch if you're giving it to someone.

Goes down dangerously easy
Had this at a friend's dinner party and immediately went and ordered one myself. It's got this lovely fruity nose that just draws you in, and the finish hangs around in a really satisfying way. The sweetness is subtle — my partner who normally only drinks brut didn't even notice it was demi-sec until I told her.
