Billecart-Salmon Brut Rose NV Champagne / Gift Box
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV Billecart-SalmonWorth every penny for a special night
Bought this for our anniversary and it was absolutely stunning. The bubbles are so fine and delicate, and there's this lovely fresh strawberry thing going on without being sweet. At £76 it's not cheap but honestly for a celebration it felt worth it. We kept going back for another sip even after dinner was done.
Beautiful rosé champagne
Got this as a birthday present and I'm so glad I finally tried Billecart-Salmon. Really elegant — not like those overly fruity rosé proseccos. There's proper depth to it and the finish just goes on and on. Would definitely buy again for a special occasion.
Good not great
Saw this on a restaurant wine list and decided to grab a bottle from a shop instead. It's solid — nice and crisp, not too heavy at 12.5%, and the bubbles are really fine. But honestly at this price point I expected to be a bit more blown away. It's elegant for sure, just didn't quite wow me the way I hoped.
Nice but hard to justify the price
Look, it's a good champagne, no question. Lovely pale pink colour, fine bubbles, well balanced. But at nearly £76 a bottle I kept thinking I could get two really solid bottles of something else. If someone else is buying, absolutely. Out of my own pocket, probably not a regular thing.
This is what rosé champagne should taste like
I've been slowly getting into champagne over the last year and this is probably the best rosé I've had. Everything just works together — the fruit, the acidity, the bubbles. The finish is genuinely long, like you can still taste it a minute later. Treating myself to another bottle for Christmas.
The wine shop guy nailed it
Asked for a rosé champagne recommendation and was pointed to this. So glad I listened. It's really clean and precise — not jammy or over the top at all. Served it at a dinner party and everyone commented on it. The gift box is a nice touch too.
