Jorge Castillo VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat that delivered
9/10

Bought this for my 40th and wow, so glad I did. The bread-y, toasty thing going on is amazing and there's this lemony zing that keeps it really fresh. Finished the bottle way too fast. At £84 it's not an everyday buy but for a special occasion it's absolutely worth it.

Jake Morrison VIPsAllowed - Really good but hard to justify the price
7/10

Had this at a friend's house and thought it was excellent — creamy, full-bodied, with a nice dry mineral finish. But then I looked up the price and nearly £84 is steep. I've had champagnes at £50 that I've enjoyed almost as much. That said, the quality is clearly there if you've got the budget.

Dmitri Volkov VIPsAllowed - Dried apricot note is spot on
8/10

I'm getting more into champagne lately and this one stood out. There's a subtle dried apricot and lemon tart thing happening that I really liked, plus it finishes super clean and dry. Had it with some takeaway sushi and it was a great match honestly. Would buy again for a dinner party.

Natalie Ford VIPsAllowed - Proper grown-up champagne
8/10

The guy at my local wine shop recommended this when I said I wanted something a step up from supermarket fizz. You can really taste the difference — there's this lovely almond and pastry thing on the finish that lingers for ages. Shared it with my partner over a nice steak dinner and we both agreed it was class.
