Yuki Nakamura VIPsAllowed - Great but hard to justify the price
8/10

Had this at a friend's dinner party and it's genuinely excellent champagne. Loads of depth, nice acidity, clean finish. But £150 is a lot of money and I'm not sure it's twice as good as a £75 bottle. Would I buy it again? Maybe for an anniversary.

Not gonna lie, I don't know tons about champagne beyond knowing what I like, and I really liked this. It's richer and more interesting than the usual stuff I drink. You can taste the quality — sort of savoury and fruity at the same time with a finish that hangs around. Treated myself after a promotion and no regrets.

Bought this for my 40th and wow, it did not disappoint. The brioche thing is real — it's got this warm, bready quality that makes it feel really luxurious. Properly complex stuff with a lovely long finish. At £150 it's not an everyday bottle obviously, but for a special occasion it's hard to beat.

Petra Novak VIPsAllowed - Best champagne I've had in ages

My wife picked this up after the guy at our local wine shop recommended it. Absolutely loved it. Really rich and fruity but still crisp and fresh at the same time, if that makes sense? The stone fruit notes are gorgeous. We're already planning to get another for Christmas.
