Nia Okafor VIPsAllowed - Nice but not mind-blowing
7/10

Saw this on a restaurant wine list and thought I'd give it a go. It's definitely well made — good fruit, decent fizz, clean finish. But at this price point I was expecting to be a bit more wowed? It's good champagne, just didn't knock my socks off personally.

Picked up two bottles for NYE and they were perfect. Really generous fruit but balanced with enough acidity to keep it fresh. My partner who normally sticks to prosecco said this was on another level. At 12.5% it's dangerously drinkable too.

9/10

I've been slowly trying different grower champagnes and Bereche is now near the top of my list. The acidity is spot on and there's genuine complexity here — each glass tastes slightly different as it opens up. The finish just lingers in the best way. £62 is fair for this quality.

8/10

Brought this to Sunday lunch with the in-laws and it went down a storm. Everyone commented on how good it was. Really expressive on the nose — you can smell it's quality before you even take a sip. Paired nicely with the roast chicken too.

9/10

Bought this for my 40th and wow, glad I did. Really lively bubbles with proper depth to it — not just fizzy wine like some cheaper ones. At £62 it's not an everyday thing but for a celebration it's absolutely worth it.

Clara Johansson VIPsAllowed - Solid champagne, would buy again
8/10

The wine shop guy recommended this when I said I wanted something a step up from supermarket fizz. He wasn't wrong — there's a lot going on, layers of fruit and a nice crisp acidity that keeps you coming back for another sip. Clean finish too, no weird aftertaste.

Derek Chang VIPsAllowed - Good but bit steep
7/10

Had this at a friend's dinner party and really enjoyed it. Lovely fruit flavours and proper structured, not just bubbles for the sake of it. That said, at nearly £62 I'd probably look for something a touch cheaper for casual drinking. Save it for special occasions.
