A'Vita Rosato 2023
Rosé 12% ABV ABV A'VitaSummer in a glass
Picked this up for a barbecue last weekend and it was a hit. Really fresh and bright, the acidity cuts through grilled food perfectly. At £25 it's not cheap for a rosé but honestly it tastes like it's worth it.
Bit pricey for what it is
The wine shop guy recommended this and it's fine, perfectly drinkable. Clean finish and nice aromatics. But twenty-five quid for a rosé? I've had bottles half the price that I enjoyed just as much.
Nice but not blown away
Decent rosé. It's well made and has more going on than your average pink wine — there's actual depth to it which I appreciated. Just not sure I'd pay £25 again when there are solid options for less.
Goes great with food
Had this with some salmon and roasted veg and it paired really well. Bright acidity and enough body to hold its own against the food. Not a wine I'd sip on its own necessarily but with dinner it really works.
This one surprised me
Bought this for a dinner party not expecting much — rosé is usually just background noise for me. But this actually had proper structure and complexity that built up as I drank it. Light enough at 12% that I didn't feel rough the next day either. Would definitely buy again.
Absolutely loved this
Got this as a birthday present and wow. It smells amazing straight away and just gets better in the glass. The finish is really clean and elegant — no weird aftertaste, just a lovely long trail. One of the best rosés I've had this year.
Solid Italian rosé
Saw this on a menu at an Italian place and liked it enough to track down a bottle. It's got a really expressive nose and the acidity keeps everything lively. Good with pasta, good on its own.
