Splurged on this after seeing it on a list somewhere and I have zero regrets. It smells amazing straight away — really expressive and clear — and the taste just builds and builds. Shared it with my dad who's been drinking champagne for decades and even he was like, yeah, that's the real deal.

Ravi Krishnan - Good but maybe overhyped?

I'd read loads about grower champagnes and picked this up expecting to have my mind blown. It's definitely good — clean, well-balanced, nice long finish. But at £210 I was hoping for something more dramatic? Maybe I just need to learn more about champagne because everyone else seems to love it.

Suki Patel - Really elegant stuff

Had this at a restaurant and liked it enough to track down a bottle. It's quite different from your typical champagne — more serious and focused, with a kind of wire-like sharpness that I really enjoyed. The finish goes on forever. Bit pricey for what it is though, if I'm being honest.

Diana Cruz - The wine shop guy was right

Guy at my local recommended this when I said I wanted something special for a dinner party. It's a Grand Cru from a small producer and you can really tell the difference. Beautiful clarity to the flavours and it just kept opening up in the glass. Everyone at the table was impressed.

Kenji Watanabe - Best champagne I've ever had

My wife got me this for my 40th and I'm still thinking about it weeks later. So precise and clean, with this incredible long finish that just hangs around. I don't normally rate things 10 but I genuinely can't find a fault with it.

Helena Kosta - Special occasion champagne

Bought this for our anniversary and wow, it did not disappoint. The bubbles are super fine and there's this amazing depth to it — layers of flavour that kept changing as I drank it. At £210 it's not an everyday thing but for a big occasion it's absolutely worth it.

Zoe Chen - Oiry Grand Cru is no joke

Been getting into grower champagnes lately and this Suenen from Oiry is something else. The fruit is generous but there's this tight acidity holding everything together — really controlled and deliberate. Drank it with some seared scallops and it was perfect. 12.5% ABV so it's not heavy at all.

Gianluca Ferro - Impressive but steep price

Tried this at a tasting event and it's genuinely excellent — really structured with a lovely acidity that keeps everything fresh. But £210 is a lot of money for champagne when you can get great stuff for half that. Would I buy it again? Probably not, but I'm glad I tried it.
