Daniel Torres VIPsAllowed - Nice enough for a dinner party
7/10

Picked this up for a dinner party because I wanted something crowd-pleasing and not too expensive. Did the job nicely — everyone seemed to enjoy it. The fruit is ripe and generous and it finishes really cleanly. Not the most memorable wine I've ever had but no complaints.

Liam Anderson VIPsAllowed - Punches well above its weight
9/10

Honestly shocked at how good this is for under £16. There's so much going on — layers of red and dark berry fruit, earthy notes, and a brightness that keeps you coming back for another sip. Bought two more bottles after finishing the first one.

Nia Okafor VIPsAllowed - Really solid weeknight red
8/10

Grabbed this on a whim from the wine shop and honestly really impressed. Loads of berry fruit, nice bit of earthiness, and it doesn't taste cheap at all. Went brilliantly with a lamb stew I had on the go. Would definitely buy again.

Adaobi Eze VIPsAllowed - Bit much for me
6/10

Found this a bit heavier than I expected for a Beaujolais — 14% is quite punchy. The fruit is there and it's not bad by any means, but I prefer something lighter and more refreshing in this style. My partner loved it though so maybe just personal taste.

Yuki Nakamura VIPsAllowed - Good but not amazing
7/10

It's a perfectly nice Beaujolais with plenty of fruit and decent structure. I enjoyed it but at nearly £16 I'd probably want a tiny bit more complexity. That said, it's smooth and easy to drink with no harsh edges.

Noah Williams VIPsAllowed - Great find from the wine list
8/10

Had this at a restaurant and liked it enough to track down a bottle for home. Fuller than your typical Beaujolais which I actually prefer. Lots of ripe berry fruit balanced by a nice freshness so it doesn't feel heavy despite the higher alcohol. Really enjoyable stuff.

Connor McBride VIPsAllowed - Birthday dinner winner
8/10

Opened this for my birthday dinner and it went down a treat with everyone at the table. Really fruity nose, almost like walking past a berry bush, and it's got this lovely earthy thing going on underneath. Great with the roast beef we had.

Ingrid Holm VIPsAllowed - Decent everyday red
7/10

The guy at my local recommended this and it's a solid pick. Nice dark fruit flavours with good acidity that stops it feeling too heavy. Clean finish too. Not life-changing but I'd happily have it again on a Tuesday night with pasta.
