The guy at the wine shop recommended this when I said I wanted something interesting but not too expensive. It's got nice structure and the acidity keeps it fresh rather than heavy. Not life-changing but I'd happily buy it again for a weeknight dinner.

Saw this on a restaurant menu and ordered a glass out of curiosity — never heard of Montilla-Moriles before. Really expressive nose and genuinely complex on the palate, way more depth than I expected. Tracked down a bottle to buy and it's become my go-to recommendation when mates ask for something different.

Picked this up from a local wine shop on a whim and honestly it punches well above its weight for £17.50. There's a lot going on — layers of fruit and a clean finish that keeps you coming back for more. Had it with a slow-cooked lamb shoulder and it was perfect.

6/10

Bought a bottle for a dinner party and it went down fine, everyone seemed to enjoy it. Personally I found it a bit serious for the price — at £17.50 I kind of want something that's more immediately fun and fruity. The finish is nice though, clean and lingering.
