A bit too subtle for me

I can tell this is quality champagne and it's obviously well made. But honestly at this price point I wanted something that hit me a bit harder? It's all very restrained and elegant which I know some people love. Just personal preference — I like my fizz a bit more fruit-forward.

Really good but pricey

Had this at a friend's dinner party and it was genuinely lovely. Clean, elegant, really well balanced. But I looked it up afterwards and nearly £100 is steep — I can get champagne I'm perfectly happy with for half that. Would I buy it myself? Probably not regularly.

Solid pick for champagne lovers

Saw this on the list at a restaurant and gave it a go. Extra brut so very dry — fair warning if you prefer something sweeter. Good acidity, nice length on the finish. I enjoyed it with some oysters and it worked brilliantly.

Best champagne I've had in ages

The guy at my local wine shop recommended this and I'm so glad he did. It's dry and precise but still has loads of fruit — not austere at all. The finish just goes on and on. Already ordered another bottle.

Proper grown-up champagne

This is nothing like the sweet prosecco-ish stuff I usually drink. It's bone dry and has this amazing structure to it, almost like it makes you pay attention. Felt very sophisticated drinking it on my birthday, not gonna lie.

Grand Cru and you can tell

Been getting into grower champagnes recently and Agrapart is the real deal. The Complantée is a field blend from their grand cru vineyards and the quality really comes through — layers of flavour that keep shifting around. At 12.5% it's dangerously easy to drink for something this complex. Grabbed two bottles for Christmas.

Special occasion champagne

Bought this for our anniversary and wow, it did not disappoint. Really complex stuff — you keep finding new things going on with every sip. The bubbles are fine and the acidity keeps everything fresh. At a hundred quid it's not an everyday buy but for a celebration it's absolutely worth it.
