Adami Prosecco Bosco di Gica / Magnum
Sparkling 12.5% ABV ABV AdamiChanged my mind about prosecco
I've always been a champagne snob but this honestly surprised me. There's real complexity here — it's not just bubbles and fruit, there's something more interesting going on. At 12.5% it's got enough weight to it without being heavy. Will definitely be reordering.
Solid prosecco, a cut above
The wine shop guy steered me toward this when I said I wanted something better than supermarket fizz. He wasn't wrong — there's proper depth to it, not just sweet and fizzy like a lot of prosecco. The acidity keeps it fresh and I kept going back for another glass which is always a good sign.
Perfect for celebrations
Bought the magnum for my sister's 40th and it was a massive hit. Really crisp and clean with lovely bubbles, and the bigger bottle meant everyone got a proper glass. At £45 for a magnum it's actually decent value — you'd pay that for a regular bottle of something half as good.
Goes down way too easily
Had this at a friend's dinner party and immediately asked where she got it. It's got this lovely clean finish that makes it dangerously drinkable. We went through the magnum faster than anyone expected. Great with the starters, great on its own, just great all round really.
Nice but bit steep
Good prosecco for sure, really well balanced and you can tell it's quality. But £45 is a lot for prosecco when you can get a decent cava for half that. I'd buy it again for a special occasion but not as a regular thing.
