Adami Bosco di Gica Prosecco / Half-Bottle
Sparkling 12.5% ABV ABV AdamiThis is what prosecco should taste like
OK so I'm not a wine expert at all but even I could tell this was different from the £7 stuff I normally drink. It's got layers? Like you keep tasting new things as you sip it. At 12.5% it's also got a bit more kick than most proseccos. Bought it for my birthday and felt properly fancy.
Great for a dinner party starter
Bought a couple of these for a dinner party and they went down really well. It's got more going on than your usual prosecco — there's actual depth to it and it doesn't just taste like fizzy apple juice. The half bottle size was perfect for pouring a glass each as people arrived.
Fine but pricey for the size
It's a decent prosecco, don't get me wrong. Clean, crisp, does the job. But £13.25 for a half bottle? You can get a full bottle of perfectly good prosecco for that. Would probably not buy again unless it was on offer.
Solid prosecco, nothing wild
The guy at the wine shop recommended this and said it was a step up from the usual stuff. He's not wrong — it smells lovely and there's a nice balance to it, not too sweet. It lingers nicely after you swallow too. Good but I'm not sure I'd pick it over my usual go-to at half the price.
Nice little half bottle
Grabbed this for a weeknight treat because I didn't want to commit to a full bottle. Really pleasant surprise — it's got proper fizz and actual flavour, not just generic bubbles. At £13.25 for a half bottle it's not cheap but honestly it tastes like it's worth it.
